Cam someone help me please? I am old and blind (almost) and had to. Buy a new PC. I have been using Picture It Premium 7.0 for a very long time across many Windows systems. Installed it on my new Windows 10 without any problems until.the last Windows update installation. I followed the instructions to uninstall Picture It and now it won't re-install.

I am heartbroken. I am too blind to learn a new editing software. Is it possible to fix it so it will run with Windows 10?

Microsoft Picture It! Is a discontinued photo editing application created by Microsoft. Microsoft acquired the intellectual property rights and full U.S. Tea Tree Therapy Lemon Myrtle Body Butter Description: Australian Refreshed Lemon Myrtle All Refreshed Lemon Myrtle products are formulated with premium native. A creamy rich vegetable soap with a delicious lemon myrtle fragrance. Australian Made. Product PageLemonFragranceVegetablesSkin.

Keep it simple please because I'm not the brightest crayon in the box. Built a new PC today with a fresh clean install of Windows 10 1709 (4th and current iteration) and when it came time to install Picture It 10 premium like usual. Within a couple seconds of the installation an error pops up regarding Internet Explorer 6 can't be installed on this 64-bit of Windows. Well that's a given as it couldn't have been installed on ANY Windows versions from Vista forward.

But that never popped up & hindered installation either. It does and won't proceed to finish installing Picture It or Library. Trying to install in compatibility mode doesn't make any difference either.

Trying to copy the CD contents into a folder to remove the IE6 files doesn't work either. Apparently to install and keep using Picture It 10 on a Windows PC. The PC needs to be with Windows 10 1703, 1607, or 1511 build FIRST and then allow Windows Update to download the 1709 (or later as they come) feature update builds.

Hello Charmaine, I myself posted about 3 months ago, version picture it 7 installed from the Microsoft Works Suite disk. As I mentioned then, it seems that installing with works suite might install something (a patch?) on your computer that makes it possible to run picture it.

I've installed it on my daughters computer, Windows 10, and after one of the automatic updates it looked like adding text didn't work anymore, PI would crash immediately. But weer restarted the comp.

Uter and so far it works again. At this moment I'm living in South Africa. I'm more then 13.000 km's away from my mummy, and tomorrow is mothers day!

My mom has Alzheimer and lives in a caring home. She is the sweetest mom you've ever known, of course! Before I left, I gave her a digital photo frame and I use it to post pictures frequently, so she knows about our where abouts and can enjoy some landscapes. For Mothersday, I created a nostalgic/romantic card especially for her, starting 8 AM it will be dis.

Played on her digital photo frame. I blanked most of the text, and since it's not for commercial purposes, I felt free to use flowers and the nostalgic tea cup that i found on the Internet - and I'm very sorry I couldn't find out who created these. ( So if you recognize it, please let me know ). Just to show you this how I've created it with Picture It.

3 different backgrounds, blue, purple and greenish, with different gradual transparant fade effect, all layed over one another. Then I postioned the cut outs, a picture of me to remind my mom it's me, and the text that I called for you guys ' text text text'. No more then 15 minutes of work. Anyway, just a little warming up again as for why Microsoft should get Picture It back on the market for all of us AND, hopefully inspired: a lot of new users! Happy Mothersday all of you!

I just discovered this page tonight! I too am one of the many who was forced to upgrade my computer.

I've been using Picture It for many, MANY years and was hea. Rtbroken to say the least when I could not get it to run on the new computer. Luckily I kept my old computer. Download Netcut Windows 8 Free more. It is now designated solely to Picture It. It's my go to program for just about every project I do! This was a gift I put together for a few that was getting married last year. A collage of photos of her and her boyfriend over the seven years they dated.

I added the photo that was taken the day he proposed and a quote by her the day she posted it. I LOVE that program and will be totally lost if my old computer ever kicks the bucket!! So you're all gonna laugh about this wonderful piece of art, I know, I don't mind, in fact I think it fits my mood perfectly at this moment because, ladies and gents: I installed picture it 7, 2003, on a brand new laptop running Windows 10 pro, and it works perfectly!! 🍀 🍀 🍀 🍀 I mentioned a few weeks ago that I started to wonder if the trick could be, installing it with Microsoft Works Suite (mine is 2003). If by installing from this disc, works suit adds something to the ope. Rating system that enables it to run picture it. Today I did it the same way, installed Microsoft Works Suite 2003, just choose picture it 7 to be installed, and yes!

So, just recently arrived in South Africa, I thought it appropriate to create a quick bush feeling but I don't have any pictures on my laptop yet so, here you go. Did it with a great laughter, then used some painting and stamps effects, then used the dry brush filter, and ended by cropping it to canvas. It didn't crash and here's the bush carnival to prove it 🙃 🙃 ☺️ 😊 😊 😊 When I shut down, I did get the message the program had been used in compatibility mode, but I didn't notice that at all for it worked even faster then the 'normal' picture it at home on my windows 7 home premium computer. Hopeful news for those of you who still have Microsoft Works Suite! Or can get it.

And useful information for anybody volunteering to take it up when given to open source? At least we can take this to Microsoft as well! Have a nice weekend further on! Some time ago I mentioned I was gonna have to take my laptop because I will be abroad for a longer period or time. And I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to install PI on this laptop, for it runs Windows7 Pro. Guess what?!?

It really works! So now I'm starting to think it might be because, once again, I installed it with the old Microsoft Works Suite disk, 2003, 7. Maybe installing it with Works Suite, this changes just a few settings somewhere somehow, in wi. Ndows, to make it suitable for Picture It? I don't know yet, still gonna try it on a brand new windows 10 PRO computer in a few weeks, but who knows. For now, I'm very very happy!!!! I'll be able to share my travel pictures and upload them in a nice collage to my family back home.

I'll let you all know in time, if this tric worked with windows 10 pro as well! Nice weekend everybody * * *.

And maybe this is a solution for some Windows 10 users among you, (thank you C. Wheeler, hope you don't mind me sharing!): Resolved??? Hopefully.so far so good.

Have now been using 'Picture It' on Windows 10 64 bit.flawlessly for 2 weeks. Up until I found this solution it would not function. Freezing, unresponsive and constant crashes. Go to search bar and type in: 'run programs made for previous versions of windows' this will take you compatability trouble shooter.click 'next'. Then find 'Picture It'.highlight and click 'next'. Then click 'Troubleshoot program'.

At 'problems you notice' check the top option.' Program worked on earlier versions.' And click 'next'. At Microsoft Community the request to update Picture It still has many many replies, up untill today: 18I'm glad you got it working, but this is odd: I can't use any setting but XP with Service Pack 3.

If I try to run in in Vista mode, I get a message that the registry entry failed, and the program won't open. Same thing if I try to run in in Windows 7 mode. It worked fine when I first had Windows 10, before the smelty updates. Now, every time Windows 10 updates itself, I h.

Ave to run the troubleshooter again and reset the compatibility. But when there is absolutely no substitute for Picture It, you just have to do what you have to do to keep it running.

I wiped one of my Windows 7 computers and installed Windows XP, then Service Pack 3, and can use not only Picture It, but my high-quality HP scanner and photo quality printer. You know those stories about how 25% of the world is still using Windows XP? I'm guessing it's higher. You just lose to much software and too much hardware from Windows 7 on. Yes, I know: half the world is still using that! And that will no doubt continue until Microsoft gets serious about the promise they made us years ago about version compatibility and comes up with a genuine way to make their own older software work.
